Dana Rohrabacher is not a proponent of renewable energy.  He is an advocate of offshore leasing/drilling, ending the moratorium on deep water rigs and expediting offshore drilling permits. The catastrophic Deep Water Horizon oil spill in the Gulf off of Louisiana in April 2010 has apparently not changed his view. He’s a climate change denier who is in favor of exploiting coal reserves.

  • He voted NO on increasing AMTRAK funding by adding $214M to $900M. (Jun 2006)
  • He voted NO on tax incentives for energy production and conservation. (May 2008)
  • He voted NO on tax incentives for renewable energy. (Feb 2008)
  • He voted NO on investing in homegrown biofuel. (Aug 2007)
  • He voted NO on keeping moratorium on drilling for oil offshore. (Jun 2006)
  • He voted NO on raising CAFE (fuel efficiency) standards and incentives for alternative fuels. (Aug 2001)
  • He voted NO on a law prohibiting oil drilling & development in the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). (Aug 2001)

    Dana is out of touch and making the wrong decisions and ultimately making the Wrong votes in regards to issues related to Energy. Dana needs to GO and be voted out of office. Go Sue Savary.
